The Haitian Society of History, Geography and Geology (SHHGG) and the Roger Gaillard Foundation (FORG) inform that due to the difficulties related to the economic situation, the manuscript deposit period for the 2019 History Prize is extended until Monday, October 28, 2019.

Manuscript filings will continue at the SHHGG provisional annex at 13 Chochotte Street, Babiole, on Mondays 7, 14, 21 and 28 October 2019 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.

The prize-winning book will be printed in 1,000 copies for the full benefit of the laureate, who will also receive a Gourdes Award of a value of US $ 1,000. The jury is composed of 5 personalities : Pierre Buteau, Jean Casimir, Suzy Castor, Denis Watson and Gusti-Klara Gaillard.
