The Rectorate invites the competent authorities to respect the rights of the persons concerned under the laws and conventions in force." Note that yesterday the four students were still in prison despite a release order signed by a justice of peace. Opposition leaders accuse the Government Commissioner of obstructing justice. Also, the French Embassy whose premises were the subject of Saturday, October 26 violent attacks without any justification, strongly rejects the rumors totally unfounded, according to which it would have asked for the arrest of students participating in a demonstration.
