Monday Alain Ernxo aka "Mèt Alain" teacher and employee of the Office of Management and Human Resources (OMRH), was almost killed by gunmen by armed bandits during an ambush Morne Tapion near Thozin.

While he was in his vehicle with 3 other people, heavily armed individuals hiding in the wood near Thozin, opened fire towards the vehicle. Several projectiles hit the vehicle, one of which broke the rear window and it is fortunate that none of the occupants were touched reported Alain Ernxo

The Professor points to a young opposition activist nicknamed "Léta" who threatened him 3 times saying "Léta" promised to burn my house and cut off my head.

On behalf of the Petit-Goâve teachers' corporation,teacher Guyto Mathieu condemns this act of aggression and expresses his solidarity with his colleague Alain.
