Saturday, November 30 in the evening, the former Commissioner of Arcahaie, Jacques Ader was installed as the new Police Commissioner of Saint-Marc.
He replaces Commissioner Jean Claude Jean, who was dismissed after the arrest failed the day before by former member of parliament Arnel Belizaire, radical extremist of the opposition activist. -l-ex-depute-belizaire-escapes-to-the-police.html, under mandate to bring, accused inter alia of "Plot against the internal security of the State" https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-29391-haiti-flash-former-deputy-belizaire-escapes-the-police.html . Commissioner Jean Claude Jean had been in this position for barely 3 months.
The new Commissioner's mission is among other things to put an end to criminal gangs and delinquency and to prevent unauthorized demonstrations...
