iciHaiti - Social : National policy of social protection and promotion
On Thursday, November 5, representatives of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor and the World Food Program (WFP), presented the document on the National Policy of Protection and Social Promotion (PNPPS), the managers and executives of the Fund of Economic and Social Assistance (FAES).
It was for stakeholders to gather the views of participants on the PNPPS which aims by 2040 to reduce in Haiti, inequalities and economic, social and institutional injustices to build a social right citizenship.
Welcoming the development and presentation of the document, Charles Ernest Chatelier, the Director General of FAES, assured the representatives of the Ministry and PAM that the his Ministry will produce in writing, his comments, remarks and suggestions within the framework of the finalization of the document of National Policy of Social Protection and Promotion, the elaboration of which is the product of the participation of all State actors, national and international organizations and financial partners working in the field of social protection in Haiti.
