Friday December 13th at the Academy of Firefighters of Chile took place the graduation and certification ceremony of 10 instructors of firefighters at the end of an intense training, realized within the framework of the cooperation of the Directorate of Civil Protection (DPC) with the Embassy of Chile in Haiti with the support of the Chile Cooperation Agency (AGCID) and the Office of Foreign Disaster Assistance (OFDA).

This team is made up of Civil Protection volunteers, volunteer firefighters, Haitian National Police (PNH) officers and the Haitian Armed Forces (FAd’H).

This training constitutes the conclusion of an important step in the construction of the National System of Management and Response to Emergencies in Haiti.
