Rony Colin, the Mayor of Croix-des-Bouquets said he was saddened to learn of the sudden disappearance during the night of Thursday 12 to Friday 13 December, of Deputy Mayor Amos Joseph of the Commune of Ouanaminthe of which he was a nativehttps://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-29516-haiti-news-zapping.html declared :
"This is a new loss which painfully affects the local authorities and the Municipal Council of Croix-des-Bouquets feels dismayed.
I take this opportunity to express our condolences to the family, relatives and friends of the deceased, to his colleagues in the Municipal Council, to the employees and executives of the Ouanaminthe municipal administration, to the members of the National Federation of Mayors of Haiti (FENAMH), to all those afflicted by this unexpected departure."
