iciHaiti - Education : Handing of grant checks to disabled students

On January 3, officials of the Organization of Poor Children and Handicapped in Haiti (OEDHH) and the National Center for the Defense of Deprived and Handicapped (CNDDH), handed grant checks to several dozen students with disabilities or having disabled parents, beneficiaries of the grant granted by the National Education Fund (FNE) to several organizations working with people with special needs. These funds will be used to facilitate the payment of school fees.
As part of this collaboration between the Office of the Secretary of State for the Integration of Persons with Disabilities (BSEIPH) and the FNE, a total of 97 students attending ordinary institutions will be affected and 4 specialized teaching centers will be reinforced in order to better serve 162 children with special educational needs.
