iciHaiti - Petit-Goâve : Birth of a new youth movement
Based on the observation of the systematic exclusion of young people from the political arena and in the exercise of power in Haiti and aware of the urgent need to openly engage, a group of young people from the Motherland and from the diaspora want to be important players and act as youth ambassadors.

They are gathering around a new movement called "Youth Ambassadors" (Les Ambassadeurs de la Jeunesse - AJ) and a project to decentralize politics in Haiti. These young people are fighting for the effective and direct involvement of young people in the exercise of political power, because for them, politics can no longer be the prerogative of the old.

Nevertheless, this approach does not aim to exclude the old from politics, but to establish a bridge between the generations for a frank, inclusive and participative political dialogue and, by extension, to end this kind of intergenerational incommunicability which is in full swing in the country.

In short, the idea simply consists in sharing the political space and integrating the decision-making spaces in Haiti, especially in Petit-Goâve.

AJ members : (Representatives of youth ambassadors)
