Friday, January 17, at the Visa Lodge Hotel, Edwing Charles the Minister of Youth and Sports presented the document relating to the procedures for registration and recognition of sports organizations in Haiti.

Minister Charles began by recalling that, faced with the proliferation of sports federations and schools, it had become imperative to set guidelines and to design the criteria for recognition and registration of sports organizations in the country.

These procedures for registration and recognition of sports organizations, developed by technicians from the Directorate of Physical Activities and Sports, were adopted by the Minister after validation by the highest officials of the Ministry.

The Minister Charles invited all the actors of the sporting sector, to take all the measures in order to be informed on the conditions to be fulfilled, the criteria to be respected to be recognized and to benefit from the accompaniment and the support of the State as part of their activities.
