iciHaiti - Politic : Delegation of the Secretary of State for Public Security on mission in Kenscoff

As part of the community dialogue, initiated by President Moïse, a delegation from the Office of the Secretary of State for Public Security carried out a mission to Kenscoff.

During this mission, the delegation met with local elected officials, representatives of the police, the judiciary, as well as senior officials from the National Identification Office, the General Directorate of Taxes and the Office Insurance Vehicles Against Third Parties.

Significant concerns were raised by participants including security, access to health care, control of motorcyclists, the possibility for citizens to register and the land problem in the commune of Kenscoff.

The local elected officials, including the Councilors of Administration of the Communal Section, wished a better accompaniment of the Ministry of the Interior within the framework of their mission and the release of a fund of 730,000 gourdes, budgeted for the financing of the projects available at Ministry of Planning.

The Office of the Secretary of State with the idea of ​​following up on citizens' demands has undertaken to address their grievances, in particular through the State authorities concerned.
