Friday February 7 around 6:00 pm, following the entry into the territory of the Gang of Canaan 2, of heavily armed men of the rival Gang of Canaan 50, a violent confrontation broke out, sowing panic in the population of these neighbourhood located in suburb of Croix-des-Bouquets and Thomazeau.

At least 5 people have been reported dead and many injured, some seriously.

One do not know exactly the reason for this clash, the popular rumor circulating suggests that the Gang Leader of Canaan 2 had for mistress the wife of the Gang Leader of Canaan 50, which would be the cause of this confrontation to eliminate the love rival...

A few hours later, the Haitian National Police intervened, but none of the belligerents was arrested, according to our sources, in the absence of an official report on this armed conflict.
