iciHaiti - Insecurity : A Dominican driver of the Compagnie Propagas killed in Haiti
Friday morning in "Nan Papay", a locality in the commune of Ganthier, where heavily armed gangs spread terror with impunity, a truck driver, Ismael López Morales of the Dominican company Propagas, was killed by unidentified individuals after being the victim of an attempt to divert his gargo, while he was preparing to carry out a delivery of Gas (LPG). He was with a "guide" Fabio Rivera Lendebord, who managed to escape and who found refuge with the Dominican authorities at the Jimaní/Malpasse border post where he was questioned about the circumstances of this deadly attack.
According to our information, the truck and its load of LPG are in the hands of the attackers
In addition, agents of the National Police of Haiti found in a deserted area of the locality of Papaye several minibuses and tankers (Propagas) stolen by members of the gang "400 Mawozo" which operates in the commune of Ganthier.
