Tuesday, Pierre Josué Agénor Cadet, the Minister of National Education installed the new Secretary of State for Literacy, Hervé Saintilus former executive of the Ministry who replaces Emile Brutus because of his prolonged unavailability (due to illness).

After having thanked the former Secretary General Emile Brutus for the work carried out at the head of the institution, he welcomed the commitment of Saintilus which he describes as a committed technician hoping that he will be able to help meet the challenges

The new Secretary Saintilus for his part, reiterated his commitment to work to advance the Alpha file and requested in this sense, the support of the authorities of the State concerned and of all the actors because according to him "illiteracy constitutes a brake on the country's development."
