This week Marie Giselhaine Monpremier, the Minister for Women's Affairs, installed the new Minister of Tourism, Myriam Jean.

In the presence of Mrs. Raïna Forbin, the President of the Tourist Association of Haiti (ATH) of the Director General and executives of the Ministry, Minister Jean, after the usual thanks stressed that she was fully aware of the enormous challenges that she will have to take up, especially in this precarious situation, where the world is severely tested by the Covid-19 pandemic in general and more particularly the tourist sector already greatly weakened by the crisis and violence in recent months.

She also gave the assurance of putting all her skills and courage at the service of the Ministry entrusted to her and wished the collaboration of the Private Sector, ATH, Tour operators and also of all employees of the Ministry of Tourism.
