The Embassy of Haiti in the Dominican Republic expresses its sincere condolences for the death this week of Dominican fashion designer Jenny Polanco, who has been affected by the coronavirus Covid-19.

"The Embassy welcomes the talent and the creativity of the Dominican designer whose collections, clothes and handbags, have had the best appreciations both in the Dominican Republic and in Haiti. She also knew how to highlight the Haitian artistic heritage in her works.

The Embassy also pays tribute to the great humanist who was Jenny Polanco. Haiti will remember its precious contribution in favor of the victims of the January 2010 earthquake.

Jenny Polanco has maintained an ongoing friendship with Haiti. One of the multiple examples of this rapprochement.

On behalf of the people of the Republic of Haiti, the Embassy of Haiti reiterates its most sincere condolences to his loved ones and to the Dominican people for this unfortunate loss.
