Thursday Marteen Boute, the CEO of Digicel Haiti, spoke via teleconference with the Center for Permanent Information on the Coronavirus (CIPC), around the contribution of Digicel in the fight against the spread of Covid-19.

About 30 million awareness messages on COVID-19 have been sent free of charge through the Digicel Haiti network since the beginning of last week from the 2020 number of the Ministry of Health as well as robot calls.

"Business contingency measures have been adopted at Digicel level. Hand washing and employee temperature monitoring stations have been set up," said Boute.

He also confirmed that a possible reduction in prices for services is not on the agenda at the moment.
