iciHaiti - FAES : Preparatory visits to 5 islands of Haiti

On Wednesday, executives and employees of the Economic and Social Assistance Fund (FAES) made preparatory visits to 5 islands in the country, namely: Gonâve, Tortoise, Grand boucan, Caïmites and Île-à-Vache, as a prelude to a distribution of food kits to vulnerable people to be held next week in these commune island attached to the departments of West, North-West, Nippes, Grand-Anse and South as part of the mitigation measures planned in the fight against the spread of Covid-19.

Several thousand food kits will be distributed in these islands to residents in difficult situations through door-to-door in order to directly reach those in need.

The distribution operations will take place in a specific way: the beneficiaries will receive beforehand a voucher which will allow them to have access to government assistance.
