Friday, May 1, Labor and Agriculture Day, members of the National Network of Teachers of Haiti, denounced bad faith and the refusal of the Minister of National Education, Pierre Josué Agénor Cadet, to appoint, budget and to pay certain teachers who for many years have been teaching in the classrooms of public establishments.

These teachers threaten to boycott the return to school scheduled for May 19, following the possible lifting of confinement...

They demand the payment of salary arrears and the appointment of teachers and appeal for the unity of all the teachers in the country for the definitive resolution of these kinds of problems.
