A patrol from the Pétion-ville Police Station arrested an individual identified as Junior Isaac not far from the Karibe hotel while he was trying to kidnap a woman.

Transferred to the Central Direction of the Judicial Police, (DCPJ), the Cell Against Kidnapping (CCE) after investigation identified Junior as a repeat offender, since he has already participated in the kidnapping of a French woman named Léia Gariton on February 25 in the Delmas 64 area, then kidnapped at his home in Delmas 83. The hostage was released 3 days later for a ransom of 6,000 US dollars.
