iciHaiti - Death : Words of sympathy from the Commander of the PNH
Rameau Normil, Director General ai and Commander of the National Police of Haiti, deplores the premature departure of the Divisional Commissioner, Carmel Florent, hard worker, who for several years led the Directorate of Traffic and Road Police (DCPR) and also expresses his sympathy for the family of the Head of the Intervention and Maintenance Corps (CIMO), the Chief Commissioner Joël Gentillon, both of whom disappeared due to discomfort.

The sudden loss of these executives in the Command is a heavy blow for the police institution which is preparing to celebrate in the strictest precaution, against the backdrop of a pandemic which does not accompany anyone, its 25th anniversary, on June 12.

Despite these regrettable losses, the Director General ai of the PNH takes the necessary measures to protect the police offciers and administrative staff and urges all employees of the PNH to comply with health instructions in order to limit the spread of cases contamination within the National Police.
