Saturday, June 27, the funeral of the Divisional Commissioner Carmel Florent who died in the evening of May 31 to June 1st, 2020 hhttps://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-30929-haiti-news-zapping.html, at the age of 60 years, were sung at the pavilion of the National Police School (Road of Frères).

Members of the High Command attended the funeral of Carmel Florent which took place in the presence of members of his family, officers of all ranks from the police force, former brothers in arms of the Haitian Armed Forces, members of several associations including Chaplain, the Association of Driving Schools and friends.

They all came to pay a final tribute to the Divisional Commissioner, Carmel Florent, who marked his time at the head of the Direction of Traffic of the Road Police (DCPR).

The Inspector General, Mario Aubergiste, Central Director of the Administrative Police, representing Commander Rameau Normil, made, on the occasion, eulogistic remarks towards the very late Carmel Florent for the work that he accomplished with professionalism and passion within the PNH.
