iciHaiti - Environment : Caribbean Biological Corridor
Tuesday, June 30, 2020, Eder Audate, Director of Forests and Renewable Energy (DFER) of the Ministry of the Environment participated in the virtual meeting of the Technical Committee of the Caribbean Biological Corridor (CBC).

This teleconference brought together 22 specialists, including the focal points of the member countries CITMA and BIOECO in Cuba; Ministry of the Environment of Haiti and that of the Dominican Republic and the delegations of the European Union of the three countries (Cuba, Haiti, Dominican Republic).

Carried out for the first time online, this meeting made it possible to present the progress made in the context of the implementation of the CBC project for the first quarter of 2020.

The participants expressed their concerns and recommendations to be taken into consideration in the next actions of the project, taking into account in particular the context of the Covid-19 pandemic.
