Pradel Henriquez, the Minister of Culture greets the Orchester Septentrional, a tenor of compas music, which is celebrating its 72nd anniversary.

"This Monument of National Culture, in particular Compass music, has moved generations both nationally and internationally. It is a musical heritage to be preserved.

The Orchester Septentrional is a successful model of an institution that strengthens and renews itself by adapting to change. I am proud to pay tribute to the memory of all the musicians who took the plunge, so I would like to salute the determination of those who still hold the torch of the international fireball.
