Thursday August 20 in the parking lot of the customs of Saint-Marc (Dept. Artibonite), customs agents, during a check of a suspicious car, discovered weapons and ammunition concealed in the vehicle.

After Legal statement of the justice of the peace Me. Jacques Edouard, the discovered cargo included in particular a rifle of caliber 9mm of Romanian manufacture; a 9 mm caliber Berreta pistol; 4 boxes of 50 cartridges of 9 mm caliber and 4 magazines of various capacities and calibers.

The vehicle, weapons and ammunition were seized, no arrests have been reported so far.
