iciHaiti - Cap-Haitien : Plaque of Honor and Merit to Sunrise Airways
Since the start of its activities in 2012 https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-7354-haiti-economy-sunrise-airways-will-offer-daily-flights-port-au-prince-cap-haitien.html Haitian private airline Sunrise Airways, aware of the vital economic importance of the link between the two largest metropolises in the country, has never ceased to serve its first historic destination which is Cap Haitien, including during the last six months of pandemic, even assuming to flight with loss by sense of civic responsibility.
It is in this capacity and within the framework of the 350 years of the Foundation of the city of Cap Haitien that Philippe Bayard, the CEO and founder of Sunrise Airways, was awarded the past week by Myriam Jean, the Minister of Tourism and Creative Industries, with a plaque of Honor and Merit which rewards the company for "its invaluable contribution to the tourism development of the northern region of Haiti".
