iciHaiti - NOTICE : AAPE denies a fuel shortage

The Association of Petroleum Professionals (APPE) wishes to inform the public that there is no shortage of fuel contrary to the rumors which circulate suggesting the contrary.
The APPE confirms that the Office of Monetization of Development Assistance Programs (BMPAD), responsible for the importation of petroleum products, has received for several days in Port-au-Prince, a tanker of petroleum products and that the distribution to the various oil companies has already started.
The members of the APPE wish to reassure the population that the petrol stations are supplied with fuels (gasoline and diesel) as usual and throughout the territory. They therefore urge consumers to avoid rushing to gas stations.
