iciHaiti - North : Launch of 5 projects
5 sub-projects were launched in Limonade as part of the implementation of the Municipal Development and Urban Resilience (MDUR) project, a Haitian State project, launched in January 2018 and funded by the World Bank to the tune of 55, 4 million US dollars https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-24640-haiti-politic-$55m-for-strengthening-municipal-urban-resilience.html , which mainly aims to support municipal investments, for the reduction of vulnerability and the strengthening of risk and disaster management.

Recall that the MDUR is implemented by the Pan American Development Foundation (PADF) in 5 communes in the North; Limonade, Quartier Morin, Acul du Nord, Plaine du Nord and Milot.

These 5 sub-projects are : the rehabilitation of the Wayan street in Plaine du Nord, the construction of the Salem street in Cité Salem / Milot, the construction of the Sagesse street in Acul du Nord, the rehabilitation of the St Paul street, in Limonade and the construction of 1A street in Quartier Morin.

The construction of these infrastructures will allow better land use planning. The project also intends to support communes in improving their capacities and in the management and mitigation of urban risks linked to numerous floods and climate change.
