In order to reach a consensual solution on the problem of the Hospital Residence in Haiti and avoid the eternal discussions and misunderstandings caused each year by the organization of this process, the Ministry of Public Health informs that all those interested in the question, that a reflection workshop will be organized on this subject at the end of November.

The Ministry justifies this decision by the need to establish the bases defining the responsibilities of the universities and the Ministry of Health in this process.

During this workshop, the stakeholders will have to adopt sustainable measures in order to implement the national standards leading to a real reform of the Hospital Residence in Haiti, to guarantee the improvement of the quality of care for the population.

The Ministry of Health invites all the human resources called to this workshop to show a Cartesian spirit and for its part undertakes to implement the results of the work that will result from it, in accordance with the needs of the country.
