Between 3 and 4 Mw more in the West :

The Directorate of Electricity of Haiti informs that a new "Turbo" capable of producing between 3 and 4 Mw has been installed and put into operation at the Varreux II plant (West Dept.), in order to continue providing more electricity hours.

Reduction of electricity :

EDH informs subscribers in the Central Plateau and in the Metropolitan area that electricity production will be reduced by 18 Mw at the Péligre power station for 3 days due to maintenance work.

Carrefour gas plant

The ship carrying the two gas turbines (General Electric - GE) with a total capacity of 60 Mw are en route and should arrive in Haiti no later than December 20, 2020. A new page in the history of electricity in Haiti.
