This drama happened at the 5th communal section of Petit-Goâve, locality of Canari on Sunday March 14, 2021, according to a first version of the facts, the young men, father, who was not in a position financially to caring for his children, hanged his two daughters aged 8 and 10, before committing suicide himself.

According to the Coordinator of the CASEC of the 5th section, Mr. IPherly Louis, it is not a problem of misery which is at the origin of the tragedy, it is rather a problem of jealousy. His wife would had abandoned the house.

The deceased is a Taxi-moto driver providing the Vialet-5eme / Délatte route. On Sunday afternoon he went to his wife's mother and threatened to kill his two children first and then kill himself if the woman did not back home... it is a crime of passion if we have to trust the words of the local authority.
