Patrick Almonor, the Deputy Mayor of Cap-Haitien who is currently in the United States met Dean Tantralis, the mayor of Fort-Lauderdale and some members of his offices, as part of the revitalization of the Twinning between the two cities which exists since 2003.

The Committee of "Sister Cities International" of Fort-Lauderdale chaired by Mr. Tony Marcelli, met Patrick Almonor, at the Agenda

- Update of the Twinning Agreement existing since October 2003 between the city of Cap-Haitien, Republic of Haiti, and the city of Fort-Lauderdale, United States of America.

- Restructuring of the Sister Cities Committee of Cap-Haitien which will work in concert with the Partnership and External Cooperation Service of the City Hall on twinning.

- Planning of the Ceremony to commemorate the 18th Anniversiare of the "Cap-Haitien and Fort-Lauderdale" Twinning, October 11, 2021.
