Mrs. Maguy Durcé, the Secretary of State for Training (SEF), congratulates and thanks President Jovenel Moïse for having honored his commitment to finalize the process of appointing the personnel of the Professional and Technical Center of Warf in Jérémie (Commune of Cité Soleil), engaged since 2018.

Since March 2, 60 trainers and administrative staff have received their letter of appointment for the smooth running of the Center.

Maguy Durcé promises to continue working alongside Dikel Delvariste, Director General of the National Institute for Vocational Training (INFP), as well as other actors, so that training activities are resumed at the Center as soon as possible, with a view to providing young people in the area with the necessary tools for their social and economic development and giving them a future.

The courses started in February 2018 with 4,000 learners in 7 sectors including sewing, cooking and pastry, cosmetology, IT, civil construction, mechanics, as well as short courses in trades such as repair of motorcycles and renewable energy.
