iciHaiti - ALERT : Risk of sudden flooding

Due to the humid and unstable meteorological conditions in the Caribbean basin and given the torrential rains recorded in recent days on the national territory, the Directorate of Civil Protection (DPC) launches a risk alert of sudden floods (flash flooding) especially in the departments of North-East, North, North-West, Artibonite and Central Plateau
Civil Protection asks communities in areas at risk of flooding, landslides..., to remain vigilant and to respect the usual safety instructions, in the event of heavy stormy rains.
