Friday during a Ceremony, Eric Junior Prévost, the Director General of the Maritime and Navigation Service of Haiti (SEMANAH) proceeded to the presentation of a Plaque of Honor and a medal to the young Josh Casimir one of the 11 survivors of the shipwreck in the Gulf of la Gonâve, of the boat "Étoile Brillante" https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-33739-haiti-flash-shipwreck-between-carries-and-la-gonave-2-dead-8-survivors-9-missing.html for his courage.

Indeed during 17 hours spent in the sea Josh Casimir fought for his survival and that of two adults and a 3-year-old child, whom he managed to save until the emergency services found them.

This ceremony took place in the presence of representatives of the State and Civil Society of the Ile de la Gonâve.

According to what Éric Junior Prévost has suggested, if Josh Casimir wishes it he can put his courage and his skills as rescuers at the service of SEMANAH.
