iciHaiti - NOTICE Covid-19 : Vaccination for members of the UEH university community
The Rectorate of the State University of Haiti (UEH) informs the university community that the State via the Ministry of Public Health has made available to UEH doses of the "Spikevax" vaccine from the MODERNA Laboratory https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-34237-haiti-covid-500-000-vaccines-in-haiti-75-of-haitians-do-not-want-to-be-vaccinated.html

In order to allow members of the university community to benefit from this protection, the administration of doses of the vaccine will begin on Wednesday July 28, 2021 in the sites set up by GHESKIO and the Hôpital la Paix.

These sites will provisionally serve the members of the UEH pending the technical and administrative finalization shortly at the level of the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy as the main site for the UEH.

The vaccination process is based on voluntary consent. Those who have chosen to be vaccinated must complete a consent form. Note that according to international standards, priority will be given to people aged 60 and over, those living with one or more co-morbid factors as well as those exposed to patients potentially suffering from Covid-19.
