Note from the Government Commissioner a.i. Me Claude Bed-Ford : "The Government Commissioner near the Court of First Instance of Port-au-Prince, brings to the attention of the public in general and the operators of gasoline pumps in particular, that the purchase and/or the sale of products such as diesel and gasoline (gasoline) in gallons and in any other inappropriate container. This measure, which takes effect from the publication of this note, contributes to security arrangements for the protection of the life and property of the population. Also, the National Police of Haiti is called to proceed to the arrest of all the offenders and to lead them as they are to the Public Prosecutor's Office of this jurisdiction in accordance with the law, in particular that of December 20 1946 on illegal speculation, and the decree of November 25, 2020 prohibiting the sale of gasoline and diesel on public roads."
