On Saturday August 21, 2021, police officers from the Fort Jacques Intervention Brigade (Municipality of Kenscoff), alerted to the presence of a group of individuals operating in the "Souason 2" area, quickly arrived on the scene.

Caught in the act, the bandits opened fire on the police causing an immediate retaliatio. During the exchange of fire one of the bandits was fatally shot, the others fled.

The police recovered a Taurus 9mm pistol, serial: AAM141221. They also found the body of a lifeless individual at the scene, visibly lynched by the population.

It was Justice of the Peace Me Bob Antoine, holder of the Jurisdiction, who drew up the facts and ordered the bodies to be lifted.
