The Kenskoff police station alerted to the presence of a vehicle and the suspicious behavior of individuals in the locality of Furcy, went to the place and proceeded early in the morning of August 25, to the arrest of two burglars caught in flagrante delicto, identified as Duvère Jean Rémy and Donald Darius, accused of burglary of the homes of Me Guerd Pasquet (lawyer) and engineer Alex Dolcé.

The two suspects were in a gray Mitsubishi Montero all-terrain vehicle registered TM-36432, along with two other accomplices who managed to escape when the police arrived.

Following the findings of a justice of the peace, several stolen objects were found and recovered from the burglars' vehicle

Very angry, residents of Furcy set fire to the bandits' vehicle.
