On August 30, agents from the Central Directorate of Judicial Police (DCPJ) arrested the policeman Angelo Jeanty on the airport road (Delmas 32). At the time of his arrest, the police officer Angelo Jeanty was in a Nissan Pathfinder vehicle (1998) in the company of another police officer named Lundi Osnel, a member of the Haitian armed forces, Anack Roger and of another individual identified as Saintil Fedner. All were armed and were apprehended by agents of the Central Directorate of the Judicial Police.

On board the vehicle, the DCPJ agents also found a bulletproof vest, a ballistic helmet and a kepi identified "police".
