iciHaiti - FLASH : Terrible accident in Morne Tapion, at least 9 dead and many injured

This Friday morning September 10, 2021, a terrible accident occurred in Morne Tapion (Petit-Goâve,) according to the first information they have several dead and many injured

Partial assessment : 9 dead including 8 on site (6 men and 2 women) and another person who has just passed away at Notre-Dame hospital. The injured, the number of which is not yet known, are rushed to Notre Dame de Petit-Goâve hospital.

The accident occurred between a bus (Pap padap) coming from Port-au-Prince, which was heading towards Fond-Des-Nègres which carried among other things small merchants and other citizens.

Louissito Benjamin, witness to this tragedy, informs that the accident was caused by an old container left next to the national road # 2 at Cap Destré (Bas Tapion).
