Thursday, September 9, 2021 the well-known businessman Jose Pablo Sylvain Vice-president of the National Association of Service Station Owners (ANAPROSS) and President of the Association of Mango Exporters, was killed while driving his vehicle on his way to his gas station in Santo 17 (Bon Repos).
His car was intercepted by a vehicle where two armed men got out, riddling Jose Pablo Sylvain's car with bullets, fatally injuring him with several bullets.
Marc Antoine Nési, Treasurer and Spokesman of ANAPROSS, condemns the assassination of his colleague and announced the closure of gasoline pumps from Friday September 10 until the authorities provide a solution to the problem of insecurity .
