iciHaiti - UN : Important meeting of the Haitian Chancellor with members of the Security Council

In the afternoon of Monday, September 27, 2021, as part of the series of bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the 76th Session of the United Nations General Assembly, Haitian Chancellor Claude Joseph had an important working meeting with the 3 African countries which are members of the Security Council (Niger, South Africa, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines) plus Tunisia, a group commonly known as A3+1.
Support from the Security Council for the resolution of political and security problems in Haiti, international assistance for the conduct of the investigation into the assassination of President Jovenel Moïse, the forthcoming renewal (October 16, 2021) and the possible extension of the mandate of the United Nations Integrated Office in Haiti (BINUH) were among the issues discussed.
