Friday January 21, 2022, the Youth of the Jubilée neighborhood of Petit-Goâve : students, academics, professionals, fathers and other citizens, launched a protest movement against insecurity, banditry, high prices, corruption and the kidnapping baptized « Mouvman Jèn Jubilée Ti Gwav Pou Chanjmam".

These young people blocked the Crossroads of Jubilée and demanded the resignation of Prime Minister a.i. Ariel Henry "We are fed up with the difficult situation of the country. We must solve all the problems : the corruption that reigns within the judiciary, insecurity, inflation, the political crisis..." shouted the protesters who occupied the macadam.

"From next Monday, the movement will move on to another phase. Let the people of the South of the Country stay at home! They will not be able to cross the city of Petit-Goâve. Everything will be paralyzed... The population will take to the streets to demand a global change," announced the very motivated young people of Jubilee.
