On Saturday in Limbé (North Dept.) the torrential rains that fell overnight from Friday to Saturday caused major flooding which invaded Limbé from the southern entrance to the city center damaging schools, businesses and houses...

The most affected areas are among others Nan Fouwo, Cité Marmelade (Limbé) Grand-Rue, Cité BlueHills, Kalbasye, Cité Obstè...

Many plantations have been devastated and cattle washed away...

Other municipalities in the North : Pilate, Plaine du Nord, Limonade and Bahon were also affected by the floods according to the Civil Protection of the department.
