Thursday, June 2nd, in a note, the Haitian Football Federation via the Normalization Committee informs "that it is obliged to decline Haiti's participation in the CONCACAF playoffs" [from June 18 to July 3] counting for the U-20 World Cup Indonesia 2023 "for reasons beyond his control" while a few days ago the FHF had submitted a list of 60 players to CONCACAF...

Let's recall that our Grenadiers in Group F https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-36096-icihaiti-concacaf-u-20-men-our-grenadiers-know-their-opponents.html should have faced in this elimination phase Trinidad and Tobago (June 19), Suriname (June 21) and Mexico (June 23).

The FHF recalls that it remains focused on ongoing activities as part of the participation of the Grenadiers and Grenadières in the CONCACAF Nations League, in the last phase of the qualifiers for the Australia New Zealand 2023 Women's World Cup and others future competitions.

As for the "reasons beyond the control of the FHF" we will have to be content with speculation while waiting for official explanations... Some are already talking about insufficient preparation of our U-20 Grenadiers...
