Sunday, July 10, 2022, approximately 5 teenagers, apparently between the ages of 14 and 16 (estimated by witnesses who underlined the young age of the kidnappers) some with their faces uncovered, aboard a pick-up vehicle, double cabin, red in color registered AA-71583 kidnapped 4 people.

A first kidnapping of 3 people who were in their vehicle (a couple and a child or a woman and two children according to divergent testimonies) took place at the level of Capois and Cameau streets. As they were leaving the kidnappers kidnapped a fourth person, a woman who was returning from the market and fled without being worried by the police who nevertheless regularly patrol this area.

The National Police of Haiti (PNH) arrived on the scene unfortunately too late, left with the vehicle of the 3 hostages.
