Wesly Joseph (23), alias "Ti Kanna" a convict actively wanted for the murder by buller of Calixte Jean was fatally injured during an exchange of fire as he tried to resist his arrest by agents of the Departmental Judicial Police Service / North in Acul-du-Nord (Haut du Bourg) who caught him in flagrante delicto while he was spreading panic and ransomed officials of a street concreting site.

3 other suspects by the names of Marc Olivier Pierre Louis (17), Dorsainvil Chanley (22) and Ketia Leonard (32) were also arrested in connection with this case.

The police seized, among other things, Wesly Jospeh's weapon, a Smith & Wesson 9mm caliber pistol, a magazine, some ammunition and 3 cell phones...

It is the Justice of the Peace of Acul-du-Nord, Me Renaud Moncoeur who proceeded to the legal report of the body of the killed bandit which was given to Marie for burial.
