Wednesday, August 3, 2022 :
Two armed bandits were mortally wounded in exchanges of fire with the Police, on the National road number 1, in particular near the Community Hospital of Bon Repos. These individuals specialized in the hijacking of goods trucks, had in their possession two pistols. An armed accomplice was also injured but managed to escape.

The Port-au-Prince Police Station, assisted by a Justice of the Peace, seized a Suzuki, registered LL-00469 at the Sylvio Cator stadium. According to information available to the National Police, this vehicle was used by the gang led by the named "Ti Lapli" to transport the ransoms paid by family members or relatives of people kidnapped and sequestered by the gang. In retaliation, thugs attacked the Portail Léogane police station. Several of them were fatally injured in exchanges of fire with the police.

Tuesday, August 2, 2022 :
James Saintilus (42), alias "Pharaoh" native of Port-au-Prince, was arrested in Titanyen by the Cabaret Police. He was actively wanted by the Departmental Service of the Judicial Police (SDPJ-West-2) and by the Central Directorate of the Judicial Police (DCPJ), for his involvement in the hijacking of several trucks of goods in Canaan on National Road #1 .
