Sunday, August 28, the National Police of Haiti (PNH) during a routine check at the Toussaint Louverture International Airport roundabout (better known as the 3 hands roundabout) intercepted a Nissan Caravan minibus registered: TP: 36645.

Inside the vehicle, the police discovered a large quantity of marijuana, contained in 46 bags for a total weight of just over one ton (1,035.90 kg).

The driver Jean Lino Lizaire (42 years old) from Jérémie was arrested, accused of possession, trafficking and transport of narcotics and placed in police custody pending legal action.

A Justice of the Peace from the Croix-des-Missions was required for the legal report.
